RESOURCE CENTRE
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN (2021)

Sanctuary House is a homeless shelter which will provide services to those in need. The centre has been designed with LEED, WELL and Passive House strategies, by doing so the centre will not be reliant on mechanical systems for heating, cooling and lighting while using power from the sun and direction of winds to maintain a consistent indoor temperature and environment. From the design of the space to the material and finishes chosen, the Sanctuary House is a creative environment that is warm and welcoming to any visitors. This project was designed by myself and a group member.
