SUSTAINABLE DESIGN (2021)

 

This project intent was to research and become informed of an issue and design a public display to raise awareness around it. My group and I chose issues with disease and illness, specifically eating disorders. We designed a display kiosk which has information and supportive content displayed on each side. 

Danielle's Place is the organization that we chose to research. It is a non-profit organization that supports youth aged 17 and under by providing intervention programs to individuals. They offer various virtual and in-person support groups that cover a wide range of areas to empower youth and create positive change.

The structure of our kiosk design incorporates the same purpose as Danielle’s Place, a compassionate service.  Our group wanted a visual representation of the values and beliefs of the organization and how supportive it has been.
